Many internet marketers using content marketing on blogs or article directories were paid a Google visit recently and the aftermath is still being talked about throughout the marketing industry.

Essentially Google has de-indexed many blogs, blog networks and article post made by marketers, that they felt had violated their terms of service  (according to them) by actively working to get their content ranked in the search engines.

Most (apparently) due to aggressive backlinking strategies.
